Ecommerce Programmer/Technical Architect

Fan Asylum is an interactive company providing Fan Club and ecommerce services for music artists since 1984, yes we were actually doing this pre-internet. As a full service company, we operate and maintain clients' online presence and marketing/ecommerce programs, including member-only eCommerce and VIP travel services.

We're looking for a skilled and creative Technical/Software architect to maintain and expand our technologies. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years hands-on experience in interactive media, with demonstrated full-cycle development, from conception to production.

The position currently is 15-20 hours per week and can be as a part-time employee or outside contractor, with some time in the office each week.

You are also responsible for maintenance of the IT infrastructure. We have a small office network (5-8 employees) with web properties hosted remotely.

Our standard architecture is LAMP-based, running a customized OpenCart installation and our web sites are all Drupal based. So experience with Drupal and OpenCart would be required.

Minimum Qualifications
BS in computer science or equivalent experience
Linux, CentOS is desirable
MySQL
Network Administration and Security, including integration with Windows
Apache
PHP

Desirable Experience
HTML
CSS
Javascript, CodeIgniter Framework, Asterisk VOIP phone system,
Social Networking, particularly Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter
SEO
